We are a primary state school catering from Prep to Year 6.
We pride ourselves on the individual care that we are able to give our students. Students' individual needs are catered for academically and through extra services we are able to provide.

The Youth Worker is a key member of the school's professional team, working collaboratively with students, staff, families and external agencies to support student engagement and wellbeing.
The role involves liaising with teachers, guidance officers, support staff and community services to identify and address barriers that may impact students' learning and attendance.
Responsibilities Include
Maintaining accurate records and data, documenting student contact, and contributing to effective case management and referrals to appropriate services. The Youth Worker will also build strong relationships with families, including conducting home visits where appropriate, to support students at risk of disengagement. Through these partnerships, the role aims to strengthen connections between school and home, encourage regular attendance and help students remain engaged in their education and future pathways.

The Perfect Fit
The successful applicant will have key involvement with individual schools, but also monitor attendance patterns, support early intervention strategies and assist students to achieve positive learning outcomes. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and work collaboratively with students, staff, families and external agencies. An ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintain confidentiality and approach situations with sensitivity and respect is essential. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy and sound judgement when working with students and families who may be experiencing a range of challenges.
